A graduate in Law and Business Administration from ICADE (Madrid), he is the Chairman of Indra since January 2015.
He has worked in different companies and financial institutions. Between 2011 and 2014 he was the CEO of Grupo Prisa. Between 2005 and 2011 he was CEO at Credit Suisse in Spain and Portugal. He was CFO in 1997-2000 and CEO in 2000-2003 of Grupo Telefónica. Abril-Martorell has extensive financial experience as Managing Director and Treasurer at JP Morgan in Spain, where he worked for 10 years before joining Telefónica. He is currently a member of Board of Directors of Ence.
An economist with an MBA from IESE and EOI, Javier de Andrés began his career at what is now Fujitsu, S.A. España, occupying different positions in the financial area until his appointment as Financial Vice President. He has also held this office at Tupperware Iberica, S.A. and Cyanamid Ibérica, S.A./ Wyeth Orfi. He joined Indra in 1999 and from 2002 to 2007 occupied the post of Management Control Vice President. In 2007 he was appointed Executive Vice President of Corporate Control, Purchasing and Logistical Systems, and in 2009 he took over the helm as Director of the BPO Division. He was nominated for the post of President & COO in 2010 and officially appointed in June 2011.
He has a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. He started his professional career at a number of companies in the Information Technology and Consulting sectors and has launched several digital start-ups. In 2003 he was appointed Director of Competitiveness for the Spanish public company Red.es. In 2006 he joined what is now the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE) and became its Managing Director. In 2014 he joined Indra, where he became the Director of Cybersecurity. He is currently the head of Defense and Security.
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University and Masters Degree in Air Navigation and Airports. He began his professional career at Indra in 1992 as Head of Radar Data Processes. In 2005 he joined the NATS Program management team, where he later became Vice President. Lastly, in 2015 he was appointed Head of European Air Traffic Programs. He previously held positions of responsibility at Iberia, Inisel and Aena. He is currently head for International Air Traffic and Indra Navia.
She has a degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Transportation) from the Technical University of Madrid, a master's degree in Railway Systems from the ICAI School of Engineering at Comillas Pontifical University, and she has completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) at ESADE Business & Law School. She developed her professional career at companies like INECO (where she held a number of different positions, including Corporate General Manager) and Renfe Operadora (where after holding various positions she became the company's General Manager of Operations). She joined Indra in February 2017 as the Deputy Director of Transportation. She is currently the head of the Transportation Department.
She has a degree in Business and Economics. She has pursued her professional career in operations and information systems consulting, holding a number of different positions at companies in the field. She joined Indra in 2011 as Energy Market Vice President and was appointed Deputy Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Consulting, Energy, Telecommunications and Media businesses in January 2013. She is currently head for IT and Minsait.
He joined Indra in 2015. He now leads the Digital Solutions unit of Minsait. Among others, he is leading the development of smart solutions, combining IoT and Artificial intelligence, and managing a mature SW business on digital markets. In addition to this main role, he is coordinating the transformation of Indra IT offering, into high value services and products. And during his first year in the company, he led the creation of Minsait.
Before joining Indra, he worked 8 years at McKinsey Business Technology Office, serving clients globally in the design and implementation of their technology and digital strategies. And he had previously worked 8 more years at IBM and PwC, always on technology-enabled business transformations.
Graduated in Business Administration from University of Lincoln (UK), holds a MBA from ESEUNE and a Master’s Postdegree in Electronic Commerce and Technology from UC Berkeley.
Before joining Indra in 2002, he occupied several positions in Daimler Benz Aeroespace in Germany as well as in Telli.com in San Francisco, US. He joined Indra as Head of Digital Martket´s Center of Excellence and held that role until 2007 when he was appointed Director of International business development of the BBVA´s account In 2009, he was appointed Global director of BBVA’s account and held this role until 2014 when he became the Global Head of the Financial services business unit of Indra, which is his current position.

Since 2014, he is the Head of the Energy vertical at Indra. In 2016, also takes the responsibility of the Industry & Consumer Products vertical and, most recently, of the ERPs/ SAP horizontal Practice. Before joining Indra, he was a Partner in the Madrid Office of McKinsey & Company, where he worked between 1998 and 2014. His responsibilities at McKinsey ranged from leading the Operations Practice in Iberia to playing different leadership roles within the Energy Practice at a European level. Before McKinsey, he also worked in the Corporate Finance Department of SBC Warburg.

He began his career at McKinsey & Co in 1994, where he worked as financial analyst. In 1998 he joined Goldman Sachs in London, where he held various positions. In 2006 he joined Credit Suisse where he held different positions until he was appointed Managing Director of Investment Banking for Spain and Portugal. Finally, in 2012 he joined Prisa as CFO until November 2015 when he is appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Indra.
